CloudReaders for iPad

CloudReaders is a great book/comic reader for iPad. It is a simple app that does a great job. It supports different formats such as PDF, CBZ, ZIP, CBR and RAR, and you can simply transfer the file via USB cable into your iPad.

It opens huge PDF files without any delay, and supports zooming and page swiping.

Re-size the image simply with the touch of two fingers, and once the image reaches the size you like, tap once again, and the app will apply the setting automatically on each page.

Unfortunately, it does not allow users to organize files into a folder, but it has all the basic features that enable you to read comfortably.

I also like the fact that the creator of this app provides a great deal of support for the users. Since its first release, the creator has already updated this app 7 times; each update offers new features.

There is also a CloudReaders community that gives you access to free books or files from Public Domain. It’s still a small community run by volunteers, but I believe someday it will have more resources.

Cloud Readers has become one of my favorite book readers on iPad besides Stanza. As a aficionado of Japanese Manga, I have a huge collection of JPG – RAR files. With this app, I can read all my favorite comic books anytime I want, anywhere I want.

Oh, and have I mentioned it’s FREE? Why spend $9.99 or $4.99 for an app that doesn’t even perform as well as this freebie?

Name: CloudReaders
